Lilikoi Peach Raspberry Sangria

Finally getting around to sharing the recipe for the Sangria that I made for Christmas Eve this year. It's super easy and based off a Pinterest recipe, but I used what we had around the house/yard/garden and gave it my own tropical twist...Enjoy!

Recipe:
3 lilikoi
1 can of peaches
1 bag frozen raspberries
2 cans peach nectar
1 can frozen pink lemonade
2/3 Cup sugar
1 bottle merlot
1 bottle pink zinfindel
1 bottle pino grigio
1 bottle muscato

garnish with sage sprigs

Comments:
The empty lot next to our house has a ton of lilikoi, so I snagged some from there, but you could use whatever, or omit them if you can't find them. Lilikoi is also known as passion fruit. Actually, I don't know, ours are yellow, so they're probably different species/cultivars, or something, but whatever. I just scooped out the guts and threw it in seeds and all, you could juice them if you want, but for this recipe, there's really no need to.

The sage was from our garden- YAY!

No store on Molokai had fresh raspberries and my plant is pretty dead from transplanting it, so I used a whole bag of frozen and it was pretty good, plus, it helped chill everything.

You can use whatever wine you like/have, but this combo was pretty darn tasty.
