Happy Halloween 2015

Overall we had a nice Halloween this year. It was definitely trying at times. I had a lot of homework to do, our house was a mess (as usual) and Michael and Sophia were definitely NOT on their best behavior!

Last month when we were on Maui I asked Sophia what she wanted to be, and let her pick out her very own costume. She wanted to be Rapunzel, and even got a blonde wig. (Haha) It was shaping up to be a pretty cute costume, and she SWORE she wanted to be Princess Tangled. Also, her costume was only $12 at Ross, so whatever, right? I thought if she ended up flaking out it wouldn't matter, she would still wear it as dress up clothes. Well- Boy was I wrong!

Anyway, keeping with the theme I looked ALL over for a Pascal (the chameleon from Tangled) costume. It doesn't exist, so I bought a $10 lizard costume on Amazon, that only came in a size 18 months. And then cut, sewed, glued and painted it into Pascal.

Fast forward to 2:30 PM on October 31st. We got showers because it was a billion degrees outside, even in Kalae. I started to dress the kids for the Lion's Club costume contest at the library, and we all had meltdowns.  Eitherway, we ended up missing the whole costume contest, and pulling stuff out of the closet for last minute costumes. So we ended up with Sophia going as a crabby witch, and Michael going as Rambo.

Sophia keeps wrapping up pretend "presents" for everyone.

This one doesn't quite capture her mood.

Since we missed the costume contest, we cruised the wharf at sunset.

We went Trick-Or-Treating with friends
