Welcome Fall (and a pumpkin chai latte recipe)

Ahhhh! It's officially fall!!! Except we live in Hawaii, so although it's slightly cooler there's really no difference. Anyway. I kicked off the season with a little DIY morning drink.

It also has all real ingredients, so you should make one too! Recipe below and it makes about 3 servings.






Recipe
Microwave 3 chai tea bags in 1.5 cups of water for 3 minutes
Combine in a heavy pot with:
2 cups whole milk
3 TBS brown sugar
1/2 can pumpkin purée (~1 cup)
1 tsp vanilla
Dash cinnamon
Heat on medium until steamy. Stir so it doesn't burn.

Ladle into cups and top with cinnamon whipped cream

Cinnamon Whipped cream
In mixer combine:
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 TBS sugar
Dash cinnamon
1/4 tsp vanilla
