So...these are in no way authentic, but they’re pure midwestern deliciousness.
Recipe
1pkg flour tortillas
1 cup sugar
1TBS cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
Heat about 1 inch of oil in a heavy pan on medium high.
Cut up a package of 8 flour tortillas into triangles like pizza slices.
Mix sugar, salt and cinnamon in a ziplock bag.
Fry in very small batches.
Drain on paper towels for about 30 seconds
Toss in ziplock whole still very warm.
Serve with vanilla ice cream and honey.
