Tomorrow is makahiki and Sophia is old enough this year. She didn’t make it for any events, but they have been practicing the last couple of weeks. Her chanting is getting pretty good, and I’m ashamed to say that I have no idea what most of it is, and I’m also secretly glad that she’s not competing this year because it starts at 6am!!! Uuuuuugh! Who does that?!?!? 6am on a Saturday! 😱ðŸ˜
So...I know she wants to go, but I’d say there’s a 99% chance we’re not going to make it. Which is fine in my book because she has 12 more years to participate. 😂
