Well, at this point I think it’s safe to say that like every other hurricane warning we’ve been through- Lane was a bust.
The calm before the supposed storm
Celebrated no work by making biscuits and gravy. I just went to a lunch and learn about cholesterol....so I made this for the last time in a looooong time. Lol.
The kids crashed in the living room
Olivia spent the storm being adorable.
And our power went out for about 12 hours so we entertained ourselves as we could.
Tonight might be windy, but no one’s very worried about it.
They were really concerned earlier this week because Lane was a category 4 and headed straight for us. Like all other hurricanes in our tenure here, it got weakened by passing Big Island.
Right now it’s right below us and it’s down to a tropical storm. We have light winds and crappy foggy rain, but that’s it.
