Vegetarian Smoothie

It’s been almost four months of Sophia being a vegetarian, and Michael being a vegetarian when it’s convienient for him. 🤣 Overall, it’s been a good thing because it’s forcing me to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into our everyday life. Growing up, my mom always fed us lots of healthy fruits and veggies, but since moving here, they’re just SO expensive and never fresh and my garden is finally productive, but nowhere near the bountiful space my mom and dad have in Missouri...so, slowly over the last 7.5 years we’ve just started eating less and less plants.
Thanks to Sophia’s freaking stubbornness, we’re finally changing that.

Here’s a recipe for an easy and relatively inexpensive smoothie, that feeds 4 keiki.

Recipe:
1 can pineapple rings with juice
1 bag frozen blueberries
2 frozen apple bananas
1 scant scoop vanilla protein powder

Dump in blender in that order and blend until smooth.

I serve mine in mason jars. 2 jelly and 2 quart. With these lids from amazon!
