Kauai Day 1

Day one was a travel day for us. From the time we left our house until the time we got to our condo was 9 hours. That’s slightly ridiculous considering we only went 174 miles, but oh well.

There are no direct flights from neighbor islands, so we had to take Hawaiian and had to stop in Honolulu.

Once we got to Lihue, we picked up our rental car and stopped at Wal-Mart for some essentials that I didn’t want to pack (bar of Dial, etc) and a few things we just can’t get at home (soft batch cookies😂)

Next we went back to the airport to pick up Anna, and then drive up to Princeville, stopping at Foodland for wine and fruit.

That’s basically it. We were pooped by the time we got there although the kids were super wound up! We had dinner with Daniel’s family at Hideaway’s Pizza Pub, which I thought was really good! But then again I’ve only eaten Pizza Cafe for the last 8 years, so who am I to say. 😂

The kids were actually really well behaved while traveling, but pretty rowdy by the time we got here. Our condo is nice, and has pleat of room for all of us, and is only a 1-2 minute walk or drive from Daniel’s parents’ timeshare.
