29 weeks

29 weeks, only 11 more to go! I'm actually much more excited to be finished with this stupid ass grad class I'm taking. It is the worst!!! I hate it so bad! Other than that everything is going great. The midwife said baby was measuring big. But at least he seems healthy. He is kicking some and has had the hiccups a few times, other than that not much is new.

Sophia is amazing! She's learning a ton of new words everyday! In the last few  weeks she's picked up grandma, grandpa, apple, tutu, book, poop, cat, boat, bike, yeah, and many more.

In Molokai news we're getting a new boss, which sucks and make me very nervous. And it finally stopped raining but a bunch of our stuff is now covered in that nasty black mold. I'm not sure how to deal with that...

This Friday is Valentine's Day, so I wanted to do something special, but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen, so maybe next year... Or I'll just focus on Easter...

Fresh garden veggies

Last night we finally got a break in the rain for long enough that I could go pick some lettuce. Much to my surprise, our garden was full of stuff! But it's definitely looking worse for the wear after all this rain.

After dinner we researched baby names. They were all TERRIBLE!

Sophia learned two new words "grandma" and "grandpa"! Although in this picture she still pointed out "Nana"

28 weeks pregnancy update

Baby is big! Estimated at over 2 pounds! Mommy is measuring 29 centimeters and  weighs 156 pounds! That's already 28 pounds, so it looks like I need to exercise more :(

Uugh, winter!

Well, it's February an we're getting pretty sick of this rainy season bull*

It's cold, and it's dreary, and it's humid. Well, at least it's not freezing snow? No! Because when you live where it gets cold you have heat in your house. And it makes your air dry and all your earthly possessions don't get ruined by the constant 100% humidity. Also, I would like to point out that the interior temperature if our house is MUCH colder than anyone on the mainland would ever allow thier house to be.

Where's our house? Oh yeah, it's right there at the end of the street but you can't see it because its IN a cloud!!!

Molokai problem #1054

It's 3am and there is a deer barking right outside our open bedroom window.
